A TWO-CASE LACQUER INRO
With signature Toyo and kakihan, 19th Century
Of flattened ovoid form decorated in gold, silver and iroe hiramakie and aogai inlay depicting Jurojin holding a handscroll with a deer and a crane beside, the reverse in roironuri with an inscription Tanyu zu, Nakatsukasa kyo Hogen Eisen Fujiwara Norinobu ga kore and a seal Fujiwara Norinobu, interior cases red lacquered with fundame rims, with a small lacquer ojime, (slight scratches and rubbing)
