An English leather costrel, probably 18th century
of typical form, branded numerous times to the sides with the initials R.F., the top with pierced butressed lugs for suspension -- 6½in. (16.5cm) wide; 6in. (15cm) high; and a leather flask, 18th century, of tapering outline -- 12in. (30.5cm) high (2)
