The well appointed censer has a globular body, flanked on either side with a pair of ferocious horned lion-head handles each suspending a loose circular ring, all raised on three cabriole legs emerging from animal-masks, the domed cover surmounted by a pair of Buddhist lions in pursuit of a ball, the highly polished semi-translucent stone of an even white tone
