Paris, late 19th century, maker's mark JM in a lozenge with two mullets and a device above
The partly-fluted glass jug engraved with ribbon-tied husk garlands, the mount with hinged slightly domed cover with acanthus foliage thumbpiece, with ribbon-tied reeded border and berried laurel foliage, the leaf-capped handle with foliate terminal, the interior with fitting for a ice compartment for use as a lemonade jug, marked on cover and mounts
