A Baltic parcel-gilt Presentation beaker and cover
Maker's mark of Johann Klinge, Breslau, circa 1730
Tapering cylindrical and on spreading circular foot, with moulded border, the detachable domed cover with bud finial on shaped circular calyx supported on four scroll brackets, the body and cover inset with numerous coins with diaperwork between, the body finely engraved on one side with cypher EMAO with coronet and motto above, the other with a city view with a coat-or-arms, each with inscription above and within scroll cartouche, marked on body and cover
