The arms are for Sir Rowland Winn 3rd Bt. (d.1721) and his wife Leticia (d.1721), daughter and co-heir of William Harbord Esq., of Grafton Park, Northamptonshire, whom he married in 1702. It would appear that the arms of Herbert were mistaken at this time by the Harbord family. Further examples of the use of the Herbert arms instead of Harbord are the two sets of dinner plates, lots 90 and 91, which are engraved with the arms of Herbert impaling Russell, presumably for William Harbord Esq., and his wife Catherine, daughter of Edward Russell. A hatchment at Nostell Priory for Susanna, daughter and heir of Charles Henshaw and wife Sir Rowland Winn 4th Bt. (c.1706-1765) records the arms of Winn quartered with the arms of Herbert, implying the marriage into the Winn family by a Herbert heiress. No such marriage occurred and undoubtably the quartering records the marriage of the 3rd Baronet to the Leticia, the Harbord heiress.
