A rare George III vase and cover with water-jug
Maker's mark of John Emes, London 1803
The tapering vase on spreading oval foot and with reeded rim, with detachable cover with acanthus bud finial, the fitted interior with vase shaped hot-water jug with wicker-covered handle and hinged domed cover with ball finial, the vase engraved with the Royal arms and the initials CR with Royal crown above, the hot-water jug with with Royal arms and three sets of initials each with Royal coronet above, E, AF and AS, marked on bodies and covers

The hot-water jug 6¾in. (16.2cm.) high
