Compare a pair of larger, single-mouthed vases with additional embossed roundels formerly in the I. and E. D. Vandekar Collection, illustrated by R.S. Jenyns and W.Watson in Chinese Art, The Minor Arts, Fribourg, 1963, now in the Uldry Collection, illustrated in Chinese Cloisonné: the Pierre Uldry Collection, New York, 1989, no. 298.
