A FAMILLE ROSE 'TOBACCO-LEAF' PLATE AND TWO SOUP-PLATES
Last quarter 18th century
The plate with wavy rim decorated in underglaze blue, enamelled and gilt with a pair of pheasants, one perched on a branch, the other peering from behind a large leaf, two squirrels beside nut clusters further up the branch, all amongst large serrated leaves and smaller flower sprays; and two soup-plates en suite (soup-plates with some restoration)
