The cartouche-shaped frame with central scallop-shaped and scrolling acanthus, rockwork and C-scrolls, the padded back and seat covered in crimson silk damask with scrolling arms with similar rockwork and foliate-carving, the shaped seat-rail with central scallop shell on hipped cabriole legs with pad feet, repaired break to crest-rail, seat-frame previously with cross-strutts
