A possible source for the draped figure standing on one foot on a globe is the winged support that holds a reflecting board over Gravure in the series showing Panneaux et Frises de l'atelier de Peinture du C.I. in C. Percier and P.-F.-L. Fontaine's Receuil de Décorations Intérieures, Paris, 1801, pl. VII.
