A FLEMISH VERDURE TAPESTRY
Early 18th Century
Woven wools and silks, depicting a forest landscape with a valley beyond, with peacocks perched in the foliage, the borders decorated with floral trails and fruit, within a brown outer strip, slightly reduced in width, with approximately 4 inches folded over to the right hand side of the main field, the lower right foreground with two patches and the borders with minor patches
