1928 Lou Gehrig Autographed Letter From Mickey Eiesenberg
One page typewritten letter dated July 16, 1928 as sent from Gehrig's attorney Milton (Mickey) Eisenberg to ask Lou to sign an affidavit. Gehrig replies with lengthy notation and signature, "Dear Mick, In the club house & no writing paper so I'll use this. I am still working on that season pass for Bill's friend. Will try my best though it is hard for his is in Brooklyn. Here's hoping you will not disappoint us Sunday-Will call Sat morning as a reminder-and if I don't get in touch with you the seats will be in there anyway. Hope this thing is not causing you too much trouble. With best personal regards to Billy & yourself-See you Sunday sure, Cordially Lou".
Content and signature remain very fine ranging from 7-9 out of 10. The letter has a few age/staining spots with original mailing fold lines. Particularly lengthy and uncommon inscription by Gehrig with any signed letters of noted rarity. Includes full LOAs from JSA and PSA/DNA: Letter: VG-EX, Signature: NM
