An oval shibuichi tsuba inlaid in iroe takazogan with people sheltering in a hut from a thunderstorm, signed Tetsugendo Shoraku and gilt seal, 18th century, 6.1cm.; rounded square shibuichi with iroe takazogan of a man reading a scroll in a snow by snow covered trees, signed Hayashida Mototoshi and kao, 19th century, 5.5cm.; broad oval shibuichi mikakiji, carved in shishiaibori and katakiri with a banner before which Shoki holds the oni, details in copper, silver and gilt, signed with a seal, 19th century, 6.1cm.; oval shakudo nanako inlaid with a crow and an owl in silver and gilt takazogan, signed Kikuchi Tsunekatsu, 18th century, 6.6cm.; mokkogata shakudo carved overall with waves and inlaid with small sea shells in iroe takazogan, the shibuichi rim similarly treated, 17-18th century, 6.2cm.; rounded square iron Kenjo tsuba decorated overall in gilt nunome with stylised geometric patterns, 7.1cm.; mokkogata shakudo nanako pierced with four lobes and decorated with two kiri in kage sukashi and four sunken gilt kiku which are repeated all around the edge, 17th century, 6.6cm.; oval iron tanto tsuba with kiri in silver and brass hirazogan, Yoshiro school, 17th century 4.7cm.; broad oval iron inlaid with Shoki and oni, 19th century, 7.9cm.
