Meiji Period (late 19th Century)
Decorated in various coloured enamels and gilt with Sakyamuni descending on clouds, beneath him on Earth are a few of his disciples, the rakans [Arhats], the rim with a band of lappets and brocade design
5 7/8in. (40.3cm.) diam.
