The Poem of Gonchunagon Sadaie from the series Hyakunin Isshu uba ga etoki [One Hundred Poems Explained by the Nurse] Crystallizing salt; two men building up a pile of wood, while a man and a woman keep an oven burning and two women pass by carrying buckets of water.The poem reads 'Waiting for his lover by the sea-shore, the poet sees the smoke of the salt-driers. He longs for his love to crystallize like that of the salt in the fire', signed Zen Hokusai Manji, published by Nishimuraya Yohachi (Eijudo), with kiwame seal
