Carse is convicted for cutting the throat of Sarah Hayes...Captain Nelson spoke well of the prisoner, who had served under him in the Boreas frigate, near four years...ie that, at Antigua, Carse contracted a "fever of the sun" and had been sent to hospital [page 6 (582) col 2-3], in a complete issue of The London Chronicle, 18th December, 1787
