taken from a figure known as the Prisoner of Love, after a model by Giovanni Fontana, quarter-length, modelled with her head cast downwards, her tied hair loosely hanging over her shoulders, on waisted socle base, printed and impressed 1st period marks, circa 1875 (extensively restored) -- 26cm. high
