An English majolica flattened circular jug
probably Joseph Holdcroft, each side moulded with two fish in a panel incised with waves, with a bamboo handle, impressed registration lozenge, circa 1875 (spout with restored rim chip) -- 18.5cm. high; and a Wedgwood 'Argenta ware' plate moulded with a fan pattern and birds among branches, indistinct date code, probably for 1880 (light crazing and staining) -- 20.5cm. diam.
