A Minton majolica square-section jardinière and stand
of swelling form, moulded with quatrefoil panels of dragons, pine and prunus between borders of swirling clouds, the footed stand moulded with a key pattern, enriched in blue glaze on a turquoise ground, shape 1590, impressed marks and year cyphers for 1872 (section of the rim lacking, some damage) -- 29cm. high
