A large Le Nove oviform vase
the handles formed as winged beasts, painted with a cavalier and mount, within a scroll-moulded cartouche, the ground with sprays of flowers and lesser sprigs, on waisted foot, supported by a plinth base moulded with satyr heads, on four scroll-moulded feet, in two sections, late 19th century (damages and restoration) -- 142cm. high
