A pair of Sèvres style gilt-metal-mounted plates
each printed and painted with a musician and companion seated in a landscape wearing eighteenth century, the blue-ground borders gilt with a band of flowers and leaves, the gilt-metal mounts moulded with stylised flowerheads, each with two sconces issuing from a female mask head, printed mark and decorator's mark, date code S.37, 20th century (some rubbing to enamel) -- 40cm. high
