with satyr mask handles, painted with quarter-length portraits of four Spring maidens, wearing loose robes, garlands of blossom in their hair, standing beneath a blossoming branch, within a border gilt with scrolling foliage, titled in black to the reverse Frülingsblüthen, blue beehive mark, impressed numerals, late 19th century (some light rubbing to gilding) -- 29cm. wide
