modelled as a young gallant flattering an elderly lady, he wearing a claret coat and grey breeches, she wearing a mock cap and flowered blue dress, seated in a high-back chair, at his feet a faun, above a chest-full of deeds, on a mound base, blue crossed swords mark, incised H46, Pressnummer 51, circa 1880 (some minor damage and restoration) -- 15.5cm. high
