A large Meissen figure of Galitea
wearing loose drapes, modelled seated in a shell-moulded throne borne by nymphs and tritons, attended by winged putti, above stylised dolphins, shells and coral amongst waves, on a bombé-shaped base moulded with tied wreaths above a band of stiff leaves and shells, in sections, blue crossed swords marks, incised numerals and Pressnummern, circa 1875 (some damages and restoration) -- 57cm. wide and 47cm. high
