A charming needlework picture, worked in coloured silks with much metal thread and purl and with bead detailing, the centre with a vignette depicting a shepherd and shepherdess, their sheep branded with a B, a figure fishing and another ploughing the land with his oxen, with castles in the hilly background, a raised work lion, leopard, camel and stag at the corners, the rest of the field with a castle, flowers and creatures--15 x 19.5in.
