A mitre, finely embroidered in coloured silks against a silver cloth ground with the Crucifixion inscribed with INRI in Armenian on one side and the Resurrection of the Christ on the other, within a border of silver cloth with scrolling foliage and stellar clusters of seed pearls, topped by two metal crosses--11in. (28cm.) base, 19 1/4in. (49cm.) high; and a pair of matching infulae (ribbons), the ends worked similarly with Agony in the Garden: Christ kneeling in prayer on rocky ground on one side, and an angel holding a chalice and arrows on the other--15in.
