With nickel-finished lever movement, 17 jewels, the silvered matt dial with applied Arabic and baton numerals, outer tachometer and telemeter scales, two subsidiary dials indicating constant seconds and 30 minutes register, in large circular case with downturned lugs, snap on back, split second chronograph mechanism operated through two rectangular-shaped buttons in the band and through the crown, case, dial and movement signed

Lot Essay

It is thought that only 15 examples of this model in stainless steel were produced. It is illustrated in Wristwatches Rolex by O. Patrizzi, p. 175.
