His passion for wilderness, wildlife and adventure led him to spend 20 years making expeditions into some of the remotest remaining places on earth, mostly in the Jungles of South America. These travels are the inspiration for his paintings. In recent years he worked almost exclusively for the late John Aspinall who comissioned numerous oil paintings and three mural rooms. Two of the rooms, including the so-named 'Martin Jordan Mural Room', are open to the public at Port Lyme mansion in Kent. The third is a tropical pavilion dining room at Aspinall's Club in Curzon Street, London. Limited edtitions of his work are being produced to be marketed worldwide.
