Her work has been shown in numerous significant exhibitions including the Leigh Yawkey Woodson Art Musem, Wisconsin, and throughout the United States and Canada. She paints animals and birds in their natural habitat and subjects include most north American species as well as African big game, Asian cats, and European birds and mammals, parrots and butterflies. All reference material is gathered on field trips to national parks and wilderness areas. Her first safari in 1976 in Kenya led to her organising and leading safaris there in 1984 and 1988. Other safaris and source trips include Tanzania, South Africa, Namibia, India, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Costa Rica, the Peruvian Amazon, as well as throughout North America. She is currently specialising in paintings of big cats.
