One of his earliest subjects was British Birds and his first greeting card to be published was Snipe by the Waterside in June 1980. His work has also appeared in bird publications. During the last eleven years he has become involved with commerical illustration and has worked with design consultants. He has travelled extensively in Kenya to parks and reserves - Nairobi, Samburu, Aberdare, Lake Naivasha, Lake Nakuru, Masai Mara and Tsavo East. He had a one-man exhibition in September 1996 which met with great success. An original painting has now been published by one of the country's leading fine art publishers.
