Wing describes the viewer: '[Ernemann] also produced a high-grade tray type automatic viewer in a very compact design. The lens board is equipped with bellows and rack assembly for focus and compact storage. A relatively complex mechanism pushes the slides up sequentially in the conventional manner. The front of the slide tray also closes the insertion slot, again to conserve space. Dimensions of the viewer are 53/8 inches wide, 63/8 inches deep, and 10¼ inches high, not including the four-tray storage cabinet shown fastened beneath in the illustration'.
