A 2-inch (5.1cm.) diameter ivory terestrial globe, engraved after the antique with simply rendered land masses, the oceans with three fish and a ship, Australia labelled NEW HOLLAND, Asia labelled THE GREAT TARTARY and so on, with two steel axis pins, in a turned rosewood box with domed lid with knop -- 31/8in. (8cm.) high
