cover a91/a105, an uncut pair with a91 showing numerous printing anomalies caused by pre-printing paper creases, used from Sandbach to the Stamp Office at Chester, inscribed "Moss - to be examined", showing despatch and arrival datestamps of 9 and 10 June 1841; some creasing and perimeter defects, otherwise fine. A rare uncut piece. It seems reasonable to assume that this piece originally contained other defectively printed items that were being returned for inspection.
