signed and numbered 'Renoir 17/20' (lower right), stamped with the foundry mark 'C. Valsuani cire perdue' (on the bottom)
bronze with a black patina
23¾ x 17 in. (60.3 x 43.1 cm.)
Conceived in 1918 by Renoir and produced in plaster with the collaboration of the sculptor Louis Morel. Cast in an edition of twenty in 1950 by Renoir and Colle, Paris.
