Literature
Baozhang is Hou Baozhang, a famous physician and also a collector. Guan Shanyue met Hou in Chengdu, Sichuan and painted this album for Hou as a gift. (See Huang Xiaogeng, ed., Guan Shanyu Lunhua (Guan Shanyue on Painting), Jiangnan Meishu Chubanshe, 1991, p.10)
