A Bing somersaulting teddy bear
with reddish brown mohair, pronounced clipped muzzle, black horizontally stitched nose, black stitched mouth and claws, boot button eyes, swivel head, jointed legs with felt pads, clockwork mechanism operated by winding arm back causing the bear to somersault, with lithographed tinplate tag under right arm --11½in. (29cm.) high, circa 1910 (very worn, most plush lost from arms, one arm with holes, damage to pads, tag worn)
