A Steiff teddy bear
with cinnamon mohair, pronounced clipped muzzle, black stitched nose, mouth and claws, boot button eyes, swivel head, jointed elongated limbs with felt pads, hump and button in ear --23in. (58.5cm.) high, circa 1910 (top of head faded, 2in. x ½in. patched hole in top of arm, top of one leg, ankles splitting, one wrist repaired with small patch, other small bald patches, colour richer on back)
