Rare Steiff cat skittles
a pre-button cat Kingpin of white felt with pink stitched nose and mouth, whiskers, boot button eyes, red tailcoat and crown with yellow felt and gold trim, on turned wooden base --9in. (23cm.) high, 1890s, seven similar cats with grey felt, boot button eyes with yellow backing, red ribbons with bells around necks --8in. (20.5cm.) high and a green and pink felt ball, in a contempary red box with gold star pattern, possibly original retailer's box, all with no sign of button, 1890s (excellent condition, unfaded, one cat with one moth hole, box lid worn)
