Further details
This mascot represents a design executed by Charles Sykes, submitted for a competition orchestrated by Bentley Motors (1931) Limited, to find a mascot to grace the radiators of the new Derby-built models after the take-over by Rolls Royce. This was not the winning design and therefore was not adopted, but it remained in the possession of the head of Bentley's Styling department Fritz Feller, until given as a gift to his good friends Mr. & Mrs Harry Rose sometime after the war.
