8° (151 x 103mm). Title woodcut by Zoan Andrea of sinners fleeing into the mouth of Lucifer as demon, signed "z.a.", lombard and ornamental initials, initial space with guide-letter. (Short tear in title discreetly repaired, small stain.) Modern polished calf, gilt edges. Provenance: Giuseppe Martini, cat. XXVI, Lugano, 1936, no.76.
APPARENTLY UNIQUE COPY of an anonymous work (the preface is signed from Cremona) on exorcising demons, with a woodcut by the Venetian artist, Zoan Andrea. Sander/Rava cites the present copy from its description in the Martini catalogue, "apparemment le seul existant." Not in Essling, Melzi, BLSTC, etc.
