A Chinese Export hexagonal black and gilt-lacquered tea caddy and hinged cover 19th Century
decorated with typical figural panels, the domed cover with knop finial opening to reveal the fitted pewter tea canister, cover and liner incised with a standing Immortal within scrolling motits, above bat feet shaped supports, with tortoiseshell spoon -- 8½in. (21.5cm.) high; and a twin-canister black and gilt-lacquered tea caddy, of shaped rectangular form with central oval panel to the top and bat feet shaped supports, similarly decorated -- 75/8in. (19.4cm.) wide, (both with old wear and rubbing, minor damages).
