A famille verte punch bowl
Kangxi
painted and gilt with a central roundel of a butterfly in flight above lotus within a border of trailing flowers and foliage, the exterior with underglaze blue flowerheads alternating with censers and vases set upon scrolling foliage stands, beneath a border of birds amongst flowering branches and further lotus -- 13½in. (34.5cms) diam, (middle section of interior re-sprayed, areas of restoration).
