A pair of famille rose turquoise ground bowls
iron-red Daoguang seal marks and of the period
painted and gilt to the exteriors with cartouches of birds amongst blossoming branches and sprays of magnolia, peonies, chrysanthemums and berried branches, all on grounds of entwined lotus flowers, peaches and scrolling foliage, the interiors plain -- 7in. (17.8cm.) diam, (one with tiny chip to the rim, minor wear).
