THREE LARGE HOPI COTTONWOOD KACHINA DOLLS
the first, wearing a typical costume of kilt and sash with a case mask divided into two fields, one red and one green, with rectangular eyes divided by a vertical band of black and white, tube mouth, yellow blossom ears, head adorned with a striped visor and feathers, with a green ruff at the neck; the second, possibly representing Ho-o-te, or Ahote, wearing a typical costume of kilt and sash with a black case mask, popeyes, medium snout, stars and spots on the cheeks, a horn from each side of the head, a yellow triangle and feathers on top of the head, with a green ruff at the neck; and the third, wearing a typical costume of kilt and sash, with a case mask divided into two fields, one red and one green, rectangular eyes divided by a verticle band of black and white, medium snout, blossom ears, and striped visor, with a green ruff at the neck
