the first, a Yokuts polychrome coiled bowl of slightly flaring form, woven in typical materials, decorated with two horizontal bands in a diamondback rattlesnake motif; the second, a twined polychrome basketry bowl, probably Hupa, of typical form, woven in typical materials, decorated with a light geometric stepped pattern on a brown ground; the third, a Yurok twined polychrome cap of slightly rounded form, woven in typical materials, decorated with dark geometric elements on a light ground; and the fourth, a Klamath polychrome twined basketry bowl with a flat, ridged base and slightly rounded sides, decorated with light geometric elements on a wide brown band, with tan bands at top and bottom
Diameters: the first, 8½ in. (21 cm.); the second and third, 6¾ in. (17.1 cm.) each; the fourth, 7½ in. (19 cm.) (4)
