GINGER ROGERS AND FRED ASTAIRE SIGNED PHOTOGRAPHS
Two sepia photographs depicting dancing duo Ginger Rogers and Fred Astaire in scenes from their films. The first image shows the two on rollerskates and is signed on the bottom margin Best wishes Ginger Rogers 1937 in green felt-tip ink and Sincerely Fred Astaire in black fountain-pen ink while the second image features the couple in elegant evening wear with Ginger Rogers again penned in green felt-tip ink and Fred Astaire in blue fountain-pen ink. Unfortunately, these photographs have been slightly trimmed which somewhat affects Ginger Rogers' autographs on both. Additionally, an RKO stamp appears on the verso of both while one has the publicity office's original typed press release reading in part "Roberta," the RKO-Radio musical special in which they share stellar laurels with Irene Dunne.
