An original gouache on board painting depicting the tragic King Kong standing atop a New York City building as he holds Fay Wray and fends off an airplane at the same time from one of the saddest films ever made. Rendered in shades of blue, yellow and black, this dramatic image has verbiage that reads The Picture Destined to Startle the World! King Kong with Fay Wray, Robt. Armstrong, Bruce Cabot. On the reverse side is a painting of Frank Morgan from his film "The Kiss Before the Mirror" which also starred Gloria Stuart and Nancy Carroll.
