The dish moulded as a flower, the star-shaped stamen and surrounding petals enclosing birds and insects flying above flowering branches, chip to the outer rim and small related crack, 20.6 cm. diam.; and a late Ming 'kraak porselein klapmuts' bowl, painted to the centre with a singing bird, frittings, 14.5 cm. diam.
