Signed Iigawa Hiromitsu, Meiji Period (Late 19th Century)
Decorated to each side in relief in the Shibayama style with inlays in mother-of-pearl, horn, ivory and coral with a bird near a flowering cherry tree, a flower basket with peony and wisteria suspending from a branch, no base, some inlays missing, base rim chip
